Recently, German researchers have developed a computer program which could track eye movements and then by using these records to predict one’s personality.
It sounds fairly high-tech and scary as well. We know different people have different personalities. According to conventional knowledge, people can be divided into two main groups: introverts and extroverts, but there is no good or bad necessarily associated with them.

Extroverts are more confident, outgoing, sociable comfortable and easily integrated into a team. Introverts are shy, sedate, unsociable and inept to be dealing with strangers.
Generally, personality is born and hard to change. However, it can be covered up due to outside environments or work requirements. For example, being a broadcaster, it needs to present on radios and videos, talking by himself or interviewing others, so the feature of the profession would reshape one’s personality to some extent.

But when putting an introvert in a strange setting, the person will still feel embarrassed and awkward, not very active in contacting or talking with strangers.
As a result, corporate human resources division would like to recruit people with extrovert propensity. Is that a personality bias? Maybe. So people would like to disguise his real personality, it is a common thing in our life.

German researchers designed a computer program to track eye movements. Originally, they were not very clear whether the idea would work. They supposed that extroverts would look up at people’s faces more often than introverts. Then they analyzed the collected data from different people and tried to predict their personality. That is the underlying theory.
Now, we still can’t say it is absolutely convincible, but it can help reveal the deep features of a person that might be disguised with words and behaviors in some way. It looks like there is nowhere for us to hide in the future.
