那些大公司的愿景和使命


早上浏览博客时看到一篇文章 Good Product Team / Bad Product Team其中第一点写道:

Good teams have a compelling product vision that they pursue with a missionary-like passion. Bad teams are mercenaries.
翻译过来就是好的团队拥有一个令人振奋的产品愿景,他们有像传教士一般的激情,而坏团队只是一群雇佣兵。

刚工作的时候觉得愿景和使命都是假大空的东西,没什么实际意义。直到现在才领悟过来,愿景和使命才是最好的驱动力,这些东西能让你明白你在为什么工作,你在承担什么责任,你在为这个社会/世界做了些什么,这些才是一个「社会人」的情怀。

2016 年初 Telsa 发布了 Model 3, 很快预订数超过了 35 万辆,现金超过 100 亿美金,然而交付时间可能要到 2018,2019 年,其中一位预定用户解释自己愿意付款的原因是

The biggest deal, and the reason it is worth it, is I truly believe in not only what Tesla is doing but the need to transition our energy system. Climate change is a huge problem, and if you don’t think it is, pollution from cars is a huge problem. The Model 3 gives me a way to put my money where my mouth is.

简而言之就是这个用户相信特斯拉的使命(特斯拉的使命是:To accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy),当前的气候是个巨大的问题,而他愿意一起和特斯拉做这些改变。愿景和使命不仅能影响到团队,同样也会影响到你的用户。这跟我们常说的初心很像,但又一样。「初心」可能只为解决一个小小的需求,而愿景和使命显然承担了更多的「社会责任」。

之前看到汽车之家创始人李想在微博上说过一句话今后只投资绿色能源相关和对社会有意义的项目,大概一个意思。这很大程度上能解决「我为什么而工作」,尤其在中国这个信仰极度缺失的国度。
