Minimalist for 21 Days

Several days ago I read a story from wechat, which told how a millionaire came to realize the truth of life, not occuping more and becoming happier, but the less the richer. So he initiated a 21-days plan for throwing away household items, to discard the objects without use for more than 21 days. By this way he only remained 228 items, and each is indispensable.

Motivated by this method, I also plan to try it--Firstly packed all your objects home and only pick out the certain one when necessary. Keeping on this until 21 days later, and the things you never touched can be untouched forever.

I heard a theory of throwing away things you haven't used over one year, it's effective yet sometimes get me into trouble for there're this kind of things which you seldom use but when necessary is uneasy to get immediately, no matter from 7-11 or website. Such as some classical or tool books, or my violin, dancing shoes and yoga ball. I may 'forget' them for almost years, but it's probably on a certain lasy Sunday, I feel the urge to play, but sadly find I'm not prepared for this.

Now the frequency of throwing things would lift up to 21 days, that's a little intense. Yet we can still practice the discipline-- the less, the more. And I decided to start with my piles of old books--books I bought years ago but never read.

Daily read and record, finish and throw, I'm looking forward to finish them in this year. Three months left, let's go!
