Chapter 20: The Hour of Triumph
Mr. Zuckerman had to drive the truck slowly so that it wouldn't run over anyone, because people all came to see the mysterious pig. When they finally got to the judge's stand, the loud speaker asked them to show the pig in the ring. A few men helped Mr. Zuckerman unload the crate from the truck and he took Wilbur into the ring, companied with Avery, who was excited to be focused on. The loud speaker said that it was the miracle which had happened to the pig that had made the county famous, and Mr. Zuckerman would be given twenty five dollars and Wilbur would win a medal. When Wilbur heard that, he was so joyful that he tried his best to be radiant, terrific and humble. Charlotte was happy for that because it was her triumph.But the crowd's roaring and applause made him faint. Mr. Zuckerman asked Lurvy to get some water. Templeton bit Wilbur's tail to make him stand up again.
