One day in Universal Studio Hollywood will definitely leave you a life-long impression- You think I’m employed to write an advertising slogan for them? I do hope so, but I simply want to show my affections for this tourist destination where I had fun with my companions in 2015.
After observing classroom teaching in several elementary schools in L.A. during the week, we did feel a little bit exhausted and expected a good weekend, so when Sabrina told us we were going to have a marvelous one-day trip in Universal Studio, we felt our fatigue disappeared just in a twinkle.
After meeting up at the gate, we were split into several groups according to our preferences for different types of facilities. Some of my friends rushed to the souvenir shops, while Jarrah and I searched for the most thrilling rides, and Jurassic Park: The Ride, being one of them, became the best choice for us.
After waiting in line for almost 1.5 hours, it was eventually our turn to have an adventurous ride. With the giant wooden doors opened, we entered into a wide tropical forest where dinosaurs can be seen, some of which were fighting over an empty popcorn box, while others strolling around and enjoyed a sunbath leisurely. All of a sudden, an enormous dinosaur popped up in front of us, spitting his toxic venom(actually water) at us, and the grunts and growls of a tyrannosaur are heard, which scared me a lot.
The boat then began to ascend a long lift hill and when it reached the top, the riders, including me, held breath for the next moment, for which we came here for. Three, two, one, the boat dropped down a waterfall, at almost 30m in height, with a speed of 50mph. Telling from the hilarious but nicely-shot picture taken at the second we dropped, almost all riders were terrified to death, while I am the only one with the blue veins in my forehead standing out. Now you figure out why I said a trip in Universal Studio would leave you a deep impression.
