There are some kinds of traditional Chinese foods, which relate to Chinese festivals. I guess some traditional foods are not the most delicious that, but why an amount of people still want to eat these foods during the holidays. For me my favorite mooncake is the red bean paste mooncake, but there are lot of options to choose in these days, such as snowskin and fruits mooncakes. I ate a cranberry mooncake yesterday, and it was tasty and I would try it in the next mid-autumn festive. But it couldn’t replace the position of the red bean paste mooncakes in my heart. For my parents, they eat five kernel mooncakes during every single mid-autumn festive, if not they would consider that the whole festival could be imperfect. But some younger generation think the five kernel mooncakes as darkness food. These traditional foods are irreplaceable in some people’s life, even if those foods are not as delicious as some new-style foods. Most importantly, some people need to go to old-established stores to buy these foods, because the flavor is unique.
