Things Were Slow in the Past

Remember the old days in my youth .
People were sincere and honest .
They honored what they said .

Every mornig in the railway station ,
While the long street was still dark and empty
steam curled up from the soybean milk store .

Sunset were slow in the past .
Carriages , horses and mails are all slow .
A lifetime is only long enough to love one person .

The locks were beautiful in the past ,
And the keys were exquisite and fit .
When something was locked ,
You knew what it meant .
