Write your own paragraph about the pie chart below. The chart shows the fruit preferences of primary school children in New Zealand. Follow the two models in this lesson and focus carefully on the grammar point from this unit. Try to include some of the vocabulary words as well.
This pie chart shows the percentage distribution of fruit preference among primary school students in New Zealand. Generally speaking, students prefer to eat bananas, strawberries and oranges. Bananas are the most popular of all fruits because they make up the largest portion of the pie chart at 34%. Pupils also favoured strawberries and oranges, accounting for 27%and 15% respectively. Only 14% and 7% of elementary school students like apples and peaches, so they are not as popular as the top three. The least popular fruit in the survey was kiwi fruit.(91words)
