It is true that many artists like musicians and painters devote a lot passion toward their work and get little repay. While government need to provide some financial help to artists, I agree with the idea that they should develop their business for their own effect.

First, it is obvious that there are a large amount of prize or championship held every year around the world. If the artists make full use of Internet and they indeed have ability to create masterpiece, they will soon find enterprises that can fund them. For example, Japan’s fast-fashion brand UNIQLO held T-shirt designing competition every year. The winners are from different countries or district and have different job in the normal day. Moreover,more and more artists shot videos and rise to fame in the Youtube everyday. India’s popular movie Secret Superstar told a story of a young girl in India become a popular singer by Youtube.So if the artists could catch the change, they will get a lot of support from the society.

On the other hand, it is not to say government should pay not attention to artist’s life. Indeed, cultural progress need the contribution of artists. The government can give financial support to excellent students to help them purchase their dream. But still, government’s duty is to provide public services, issue like health care system that related to everyone is more urgent and need more financial support than artists.

In conclusion, I think artists should get finicial support from alternative source in society. Meanwhile government help is also necessary to young artists if the state budgets is not tight.
