Singapore, Summer Perpetual

It was summer when I came here,
Summer it has been thereafter.
Here is Singapore, a city either shines or showers.

The morning dew has not dried,
The first flight has yet to arrive.
A new day begins, when the ice vender drops by.

Teh or copi? Black or white?
I know not of other choice.
Sunscreen, sandals or sunglasses?
I know not of other choice.

Mountains and mattresses,
the spring is found whereby.
To, from, on and upon,
the neighbours of fall there lie.

Here is Singapore,
a city immersed in summer perpetual,
my garden of eden before the Fall.
