I am writing this email with pain in my left foot, caused by a fracture in a metatarsal bone.Due to this ill-timed injure, I will not able to attend classes in the following several days, but I will definitely do as soon as I can walk.
Last night, my Chinese friends and I traveled to another city to attend a Chinese Lunar New Years’ Gala. It ended later than scheduled, so we had to rush to the coach station for the last coach. When I was running on an uneven street, I fell down and thus sprained the outer edge of my left foot. This morning, accompanied by my friends and my wife, I went to The Emergency Department at Royal Liverpool University Hospital. I had my left foot X-rayed and then I was diagnosed by a consultant. She also recommended me to go to the fracture clinic soon. Now I can only walk a bit by elbow crutches.
I am eager to attend all the classes and learn as much as I can, however, it seems that as if that I have to stay at home for a while. It will be a great pity that I will not be present at your classes, but I will keep on learning at home. Whether you have any homework, please kindly let me know by telling Stone. I genuinely appreciate your enlightenment, guidance and support in the previous days.
