A house sits at the foot of a lofty mountain which is mostly covered by trees. The location is a gentle slope with lush grass interspersed with a few rocks. Between the house and the splendor backdrop is a narrow area of fir trees.
The feature of the house is that it is remodeled from a wooden barn. But it is a cosy one. Though the exterior seems crude, a peek through the openings of the house unveils the modernized interior which comprises brightly coloured wooden furniture – a style obviously seeks the overall harmony.
The house has a concrete foundation. By lifting the bottom with posts and digging a few feet down, the structure has an extra basement which makes an ingenious enlargement. A flight of stone steps leads to the entrance with two folding doors which are now open. On the second floor and at the flank of the house, same quaint guarding rails are crossed by three posts. Old and new, the house is a best place to have a holiday.
