It's been twenty hours and one day since the ship has been gone.
The sea, the wave and the smoke.
He is still standing on the peak of the beacon, the wind cutting his face ruthlessly like a knife.
Nothing to do, so he just watches the sea.
The sea is like a mirror, reflecting how silly he is!
Some waves are so strong that they can touch his feet.
Silenced, he just watches the blue of the sea.
No sound, his tears fall to the ground.
Maybe, this is the best way to end this bald life.
Lots of the ship is vanishing, but no ship can take his sadness away.
Is this a joke or a dream? He thinks this in the deepness of his heart.
A couple of days passes by, and he never sleeps during the daytime.
The table, the white china cup and parrots.
They used to be so true, now they are too fuzzy to be touched.
He believes he became so hazy after the ship was gone.
Is it the ship that was gone or is it happiness?
Maybe he is a bubble in a room with cacti, but who knows? Does he know?
He doesn't know how to manage his life now.
The room is empty, and maybe he is, too.
The parrots are still singing their joyful songs, but maybe this is not suitable for this situation.
The bubble just have a sudden beauty.
When he gets to the beacon, he finds that the sea is still shouting to people.
The waves are dancing with the anger.
The question table told him that next month, there will be a ship that comes back from the city where she went.
He is silent; he doesn't know if he can see her again in his life.
He wishes that he is still with her in his dream.
Nonetheless, does she know?
For his life recently, he just doesn't know anything.
Working, reading and sleeping.
No eating; he never gets hungry. He just wants to put himself into blankness.
However, this way can erase himself.
He never loses his faith, he still goes to the beacon in order to overlook the despairing ship.
Though he knows it will never come back.
He thinks that he needs some help from his friends, so he decides to talk with his best friend.
However, his friend is so busy. His friend is preparing for a pretty important exam.
The exam is so important that he doesn't want to enforce his friend to help him.
In other words, who will care about a sad love story if it is not associated with his life?
Nobody wants to know a disappointing story all the time.
Sometimes, not bothering your friends will be harmful for yourself but good for your friends.
What's more, no one will stay by your side all the time, so you must stand the loneliness.
In the next days, when he feel so painful, he just suffers all the grief by himself.
He knows his friends have no duty to suffer his sorrow.
Is this a dream or a reality? He can't have a correct answer.
He walks on the beach, and looks at the footprints that he left on the sand.
When he just recalls the memory that he spends on this beach with her again.
He cries himself a river.
He loses his passion of working in the company, and his boss certainly gets angry about it.
Arguing, fighting and lying.
He thinks that he will be fired from his job, which is true.
The next day, he says goodbye to his company, the place he works for more than twelve years.
His life is hurt twice: one form love, one from work.
Sometimes he wonders if letting go is right, he is trying best to forgive her.
When he concentrates on his life again, he recognizes his life as clothes with hundreds of patches.
He comes back to the sea; the sea is peaceful and silent.
The sea is quite again, but why is his life still lost in hell.
He stands on the beacon.
He tries to see if she will ever come back, although he knows it's impossible.
Suddenly, he finds a ship that is from the city where she went.
It is a light from his heart, but it extinguishes so quickly.
The ship doesn't stop here.
However, life is a joke.
When the ship just passes the wharf, he finds a shadow that is extremely similar to her.
The fire is burning again.
He uses all of his friends to search where the ship is going.
Hoping, trying and insisting.
He goes to the city where she went by the ship.
This is a modern and energetic city; people have lots of activities to do every day.
He soon feels astray with this city, and he realizes the reason why she didn't want to come back.
In this city, he can buy anything that he wants, and he can make lots of new friends.
Sometimes, he even goes to the bar to find a sexy girl and have a excited experience.
He finds a job in an international company; the pay for one day is equal to one month's in the past.
Recently, he meets a cute girl and soon falls in love with her.
After one year, they got married.
Anything is getting better, but he still misses the sea.
Little by little, he starts to forget the reason why he comes to this city.
It's not his fault.
If you are staying in one situation all the time, you will be lost in another place quickly and deeply.
A couple of seasons pass away, and in a corner of the main street, a miracle appears in silence.
He meets her again.
They stay quiet for awhile; after that, they greet each other in the most serious way.
She is still wonderful and charming, but a little bit tired.
He is still handsome and captivating, but a little bit wordless.
From the short conversation, he knows that she is married to a rich man.
That man loves her very much, and they already have a baby.
Not bad, for both of them.
Sometimes, people always complain and get sad about leaving.
However, have you ever considered that leaving is preparing for a better start.
Although he has a warm life, he can still remember lots of things.
The sea, the memory and her.
After many years, he comes back to his hometown with his lovely wife.
They walk on the beach, play the stone and build a castle.
Doing everything that he and she used to do.
The light is still standing in the peak of the beacon; they are, too.
Maybe, life will be better than the way it used to be.
The sea is still peaceful and quiet.
The wave is still washing the stone.
He stands on the beacon with his wife.
Trouble will pass, and beauty will remain.
Nothing will be different.
It's been twenty hours and one thousand days since the ship has been gone.
He and She
