系统配置组件说明
信息和指挥站(ICS)
ICS是基于Unix的站,主要用于BRC和ERC操作和监视 - 它显示了用于用户快速掌握工厂运行状态所需的过程变量,控制参数,报警,图形,趋势等。
控制台类型ICS是高性能和高可靠性的站。
桌面ICS与标准控制台类型ICS具有相同的功能,但其是桌面版本。
APC操作员站
这是用于过程操作员和工程师操作和监控APC的专用站。用户可以在此站上使用基于Windows的PC和基于Visual Basic(VB)的图形用户界面(GUI)访问Exasmoc控制器。
现场控制站(FCS)
除了许多其它功能之外,FCS主要控制BRC和ERC模式的工厂。如果用户在项目中使用COAST模块,则它将在FCS下运行。
工程师工作站(EWS)
这是一台具有工程功能的基于Unix的工作站,用于执行CENTUM CS系统生成和维护管理。
Exasmoc站

Description of System Configuration Components
Information and Command Station (ICS)
The ICS is the Unix based station mainly used for BRC and ERC operation and monitoring – it displays process variables, control parameters, alarms, graphics, trends, etc. necessary for users to quickly grasp the operating status of the plant.
Console type ICS is the high performance and high reliability station.
Desktop ICS has the same function as the standard console-type ICS but in a desktop version.
APC Operator Station
This is a dedicated station for process operator and engineer for operation and monitoring APC. One can access Exasmoc controller using Windows based PC and Visual Basic (VB) based Graphic User Interface (GUI) on this station.
Field Control Station (FCS)
The FCS mainly controls the plant in BRC and ERC modes besides its many other functions. If the COAST modules are used in the user project then it is intended to run under FCS.
Engineering Work Station (EWS)
This is a Unix based workstation with engineering function used to perform CENTUM CS system generation and maintenance management.
Exasmoc station
This is a Windows based computer where actual Exasmoc online controller S/W will be running. Figure B1.2.1 shows the Exasmoc online controller as client to Exaopc server.
VF701 Card provides H/W interface between computer and V Net. Further there is also an Ethernet card for providing H/W interface between computer and E-net.
SMOC-PC Builder
This is a S/W running on Windows 95 or higher OS. The main purpose of this S/W is to build/engineer AIDA and/or SMOC model, configure Exasmoc online controller and DCS definition interface. It will generate .EXA files as explained in Part A of this manual. These files will be then downloaded from this computer to Exasmoc station either through E-net/Ethernet or through portable media (e.g. Zip disk, MO, DAT etc)
Exaopc
Exaopc is a server, offering an OPC (Open Product Connectivity) Foundation standard interface between CENTUM CS DCS and application S/W such as Exasmoc online controller. As Exasmoc is client, it reads/writes process related data on FCS through Exaopc server.
Remote monitoring and operation
This is an optional package; it will help process control engineer to remotely access Exasmoc controller using Windows computer and Visual Basic (VB).
