话题：1.What do you think is the most common/serious crime in your country/city/neighborhood?2.What can we do to reduce those crimes?
I think the most common crime in my neighborhood is fraud, including telecommunication fraud and a few other forms.Let me give you two examples. One friend's father suffered from stroke last year , fortunately, her father was much better after taking a surgery. But he still needs constant medicine to reduce the risk of another round of stroke.One day her mother came across some people who claimed themselves to have the best medine to cure stroke.At first,her mother hesitated a lot , doubting the effect of these medicine. However, these medcine sellers successfully tricked her to pay for their products.Her mother pinned hopes on the medicine to cure her father ,however ,the medicine was just some so-called health products,or harmless ,edible,useless products . I was also told by a teacher I knew that he transfered money to one of his students through wechat. Unluckily, the one who messaged him turned out to be some cheater.
To reduce the crime , people should not provide chances for these frauds, which means we are supposed to be highly prudent and not to be greedy.What's more, it's the authorities' and everyone's duty to remind others of possible frauds ,especially some new forms of frauds.In addition, when policeman is dealing with frauds, they should find out root causes of cheaters' bad behaviors ,give them punishment ,and more importantly, lead them on the right track in the future.
