Zero To one

This book is generally talking about how to found a startup, the author compared successful companies' founding history and figure that when creating a new company we shouldn't just copy the founding process of the other company, since all company are different, the next Bill Gates will not build an operating system, every moment in business happens only once.

Why this book is called Zero to one, this is symbolized that something doesn't exist before, but by the creativity and effort of human, we create things that make this new product or new type of technology from 0 to 1.The author highly praised this kind of company.We all know that when one product already exist, and if you create a company just copy the way of producing it and make the same kind of product the value of your company is much less compare to the company that create something that doesn't exist before. Since, if you are in the former company the competition your company has will increase dramatically,when other company start to do the same thing, this industry is going to reach a state called "Perfect competition", at that point, each company's profit in the industry are going to be shared equally. However, if you are in the company that make products that no other company can make, your company are actually in the state of "Monopoly".

Then the question becomes how to come up with an idea that will lead to a successful company that at the end will become monopoly. There are secrets in this world that waiting people to discover, there are natural secrets and human secrets.The best place to look for secrets is where no one else is looking.
