In this book, everyone in the world must do their Year of Sharing when they are twelve years old. Richard was sent to somewhere deep in the forest.
I find answers about two questions:
Why deer jump so much?
A jump catches the eye of a wolf. When a wolf runs after a deer, another deer will jump and the wolf will turn to lool at it. Then a third deer will jump. The wolf truns again. Each jump takes the deer away from the wolf and the wolf can't decide which deer to follow.
Wolves have families too--big families. If you kill one wolf, the family wants to find the killer.

（一）《羊脂球》
以善事恶，如抱薪救火，薪不尽，火不灭。
普法战争期间，葡萄酒商鸟先生，棉纺商人拉马东先生，布雷维尔伯爵及其他们的夫人，两名修女以及妓女羊脂球和民主党人科尔尼代一同坐马车前往。
贵族阶层总是排斥与下层人民的接触，表现出强烈的不屑，语言尖酸刻薄。冰雪天气，长途跋涉，其他人只身前往，未带食粮。羊脂球分享了自己所带的一篮子烤鸡，葡萄酒等，替大家祛除寒冷与饥饿。
在饭店时，因普鲁士军官想留下羊脂球满足自己的欲望，扣留了一行人。他们对被羊脂球拒绝军官表现出强烈的不满，想法设法功克她的堡垒，让其答应。言其为了国家而牺牲的行为是值得赞扬的。在他们的坚持不懈下，羊脂球妥协了，军官也同意他们一群人继续前行。
羊脂球因出发匆忙，未带盘缠。其余人享受着自己所带的美味佳肴，未对其做任何理睬，并时不时对她所做的行为做出冷嘲热讽。。
贵族阶级道德的不堪，下层阶级行为的高尚，形成了鲜明的对比，也心疼羊脂球善却没有锋芒，满足了别人，却委屈了自己。
（二）我的叔叔于勒
我们一家人生活拮据，于勒叔叔远在美洲工作，写信来告诉我们事业有成就会返回故里。他成了我们的期待。二姐也因为这封信找到了一名公务员做自己的丈夫。
我们一家人前往邻近的小岛旅行。父亲提议去吃牡蛎，却发现卖牡蛎的老人是我的叔叔于勒。于是全家人换乘了另一班轮船返回...
（三）项链
玛蒂尔德天生丽质，妩媚娇柔，出生于清寒工薪家庭的她，嫁给了教育部的一个小职员。她为自己拥有如此美貌却是平民感到心有不甘。
一日，教育部举行宴会邀请了他们夫妻俩。玛蒂尔德为自己没有漂亮的衣服而发愁，丈夫给了她四百法郎买了礼服。因生活拮据，不能负担首饰，她向好友福雷斯太太让娜借了一串项链。
她成了晚会的焦点。然而，当她回到家时却发现项链丢了，丈夫原地寻找无果。他们在一家珠宝店找到了看似一样的钻石项链，价值三万四千法郎。他们东拼西凑，借钱买下了这串项链，也为此花了十年时间来还款。
十年间，省吃俭用，干尽脏活累活。直到有一天，还完了款，也有了勇气在路上和好友让娜交谈。她告诉让娜自己现在的状态都是为这一串项链买单，而让娜却告诉她，那串项链是她花了五百法郎买的。。
