Residents of tiny houses in New Hampshire were evicted from their home in the mid winter: the diminutive dwellings turned out to be illegal in that they lack occupancy permit and violate building codes. A similar case has been reported in 2019, and such phenomenon has attracted lawmakers' attention, who attempted to legalize tiny houses as full-time residences but failed. Without tiny houses as an inexpensive option, many residents might face housing problems, since they cannot afford standard houses with costly amenities required by local zoning boards.
