杭州中河南路附近的河坊街和鼓楼,无论是本地人还是中外游客都很喜欢到访。这里有琳琅满目的特色小吃,也有几千年历史的文化底蕴。1938年,南宋定都杭州改成临安,在凤凰山麓建造谎称。河坊街上的南宋御街,其实就是当年皇帝祭拜祖先经过的一条路。
如果有朋友来杭州想尝尝杭帮菜,我的首选一定是这家位于南宋御街附近的皇饭儿(王润兴)酒楼。
The Hefang Street and Drum Tower near Zhonghe Road in Hangzhou are popular with both local and foreign tourists. There are a variety of specialties here and has a long history of thousand years of cultural deposits.
In 1938, Hangzhou was appointed as the capital of the Southern Song Dynasty and changed its name to Lin 'an. The South Imperial Street on Hefang Street is actually the road which emperor worship ancestors went through.
If my friends come to Hangzhou and want to try some Hangzhou cuisine, my first choice must be the Huang Faner (Wang Ruixing) Restaurant located near the South Imperial Street.
「皇饭儿」这三个字是乾隆皇帝亲笔御赐的牌匾,相传他特别喜欢这家店的鱼头豆腐。作为杭州历史最悠久的饭店之一,不少中外游客就是冲着这道菜而来的。
店内的墙上挂着很多代表皇饭儿历史的照片,书架和进门的桌上摆着很多一看就有些年头的花瓶、瓷盘等器具。就连他们餐桌上用的碗筷碟子,都有些仿青瓷的味道,可以说在营造气氛上这家店做足了功课。
The Chinese character of Huang Faner Restaurant on the plaque was given by Qianlong Emperor (1711-1899). It is said that he loved the dish of Fish Head with Tofu in this restaurant. As one of the oldest restaurants in Hangzhou, many Chinese and foreign foodies come for this dish.
There're many pictures that represent the history of Huang Faner Restaurant and a plenty of old vases and china on the bookshelf. Even the dishes on the table are imitated celadon. We can tell that the owner of Huang Faner Restaurant exert to present the atmosphere of ancient times.
「茶树菇炒肉 Fired Shredded with Tea Mushrooms」
平时我不太喜欢吃茶树菇,但这碗菜我真的是吃了个精光。茶树菇的嫩脆配上肉丝,夏天吃这道菜都不会觉得油腻。
Generally speaking, I don't like to eat tea mushroom. However, this dish is quite delicious that I ate them all. The tender and crisp tea mushroom paired with shredded makes it easy for people to eat in summer without feeling greasy.
「钱江肉丝 Qiangjiang Shredded」
这绝对是超级杭州本土的一道菜了!肉丝需要切的粗细得当,出锅后倒在铺满香葱的碟子里面。仍有余热的肉丝会加入底下的鲜葱,再吃的时候可以在肉丝中感受到葱香。
This is definitely a super Hangzhou cuisine! The chef should cut the shredded in right thickness. When the shredded is cooked, pour it into a plate that covered ample of shallot. After that, the shredded will combined the flavor of pork and the shallot.
「西芹炒百合 Stir Fried Lily Roots With Celery」
西芹清脆爽口,百合苦中带有一丝丝甜味。如果季节合适的话,偶尔能见到加入了白果,是炎炎夏日里面必点的一道蔬菜。
The parsley is crisp and the lily roots has the mixture taste of sweet and bitter. If you're in the appropriate season, the chef will also add some ginkgo into this dish.
综合点评:作为一家历史悠久的名店,皇饭儿的菜价一点儿也不贵!我们两个人点了四道菜、两碗饭和一听雪碧,才花费了100多元。考虑到这家店的名气和地理位置,真的是好吃又便宜的选择啦!

Comments: As a famous restaurant with a long history, the price of Huang Faner (Wang Ruixing) Restaurant is not expensive at all! We ordered four courses, two bowls of rice and a can of Sprite and it only cost us 150 yuan. Considering its reputation and location, this restaurant is Cheap & Fabulous.
