open computer, type "//bcis" in the address tab,

When you are at home or your computer is not connected under school network, you can access school server by opening browser, type "bcis.quickconnect.to" in your address tab, then login with your username and password
Folders
home folder
you have fully access of this file, you can drag your own file(documents, videos, musics...) into this folder, and you can access it anywhere, include school and your home.info folder
this is a folders where stores school's different information, you have a access of reading it, copying it, but you cannot edit or delete any file inside of this folder.photo folder
the same as info folder, you can access all the photos from BCIS. and you only have access of reading and copying.temp folder
you have fully access of it, it is a folders where you can store you file temporarily. For example, you can copy a file you want to print out into this folder, and access it in teacher's lounge.
Please do not save important file in this folder, it will delete everything once for a whilevideo folder
the same as photo folder, instead of storing BCIS photos, this folder will store different kind of video.

school photo albums
a. you can access photos by typing "bcis.quickconnect.to/photo" in your browser. Here you can access schools's photo albums.
b. you can access from your local file explorer, for windows is "computer", for mac is "Finder", school's photo albums is in photo folder
c. you can access it when you login to school server from browser(bcis.quickconnect.to), then open applications(the square button on the top left)
then click "Photo Station"

your own photo albums
you should login from your browser(bcis.quickconnect.to), on top right, click the profile button, go to personal setting,
and click the photo station tab on the top
enable personal photo station.
then you can access your photo from
a. browser(bcis.quickconnect.to), applications->photo station - your name
here you can share your albums, create new albums, and other options.
b. from your file explorer. for windows is "computer", for mac is "Finder". your own photo album is under home/photo. if you create a new folder here, it will sync to the website automatically.
Cloud Station Sync
you can download a application to sync your file, just like Googe Drive or Dropbox

Windows
login to the school server first(if you do not know how to login, please check the previous instruction). download the file from info/software/server software/Synology Cloud Station Drive-4.2.1-4374.exe. open the application and install it.
click "Start Now"
the domain name or quickconnect ID is "bcis", then input your username and password, click "Next"
click "Proceed Anyway"
first item is to choose folder you want to sync from your server.
second item is to chooss folder you want to sync into your local computer.
If you edit(create, paste, delete new file) in your local folder(in this case, the local folder would be C:\User\Jay\CloudStation), the operation will be synced to the server automatically. The same as when you edit the file in the server, it will automatically change your local file, too.
If you have two computers, both of them install the sync application, it will update the newest change on both of your computer together. For example, if I create a new document "test.doc" in computer 1, it will create the same file in the same location in computer 2. This will help you manage your file more efficiently. - Mac
the same as windows. download the file from info/software/server software/synology-cloud-station-drive-4374.dmg. open the application and install it.
Video
you can access school in two different way
- From computer
it is in under video folder when you log in from your local file explorer - From Browser
after you access it from browser(bcis.quickconnect.to), you can open it from Applications->Video Station
