Toad and Frog went for a long walk. They walked across a meadow, through woods, along a river and back home to Toad's house. Toad said, "Oh, I have lost one of my buttons on my jacket. " Frog said,"Don't worry. I will go back to all places with you to find your button. " They went to the meadow again. Frog found a black button, but Toad's was white. Toad put the button in his pocket. A sparrow found a button with two holes, but Toad's was four-hole. Toad put it in his pocket. They went into the woods. Frog found a small button, but Toad's was big. Toad put it in his pocket. A raccoon found a square button, but Toad's was round. Toad put it in his pocket. They went back to the river. Frog found a thin button, but Toad's was thick. Toad put it in his pocket. Toad was angry. When he came back to his house, he found his white, four-hole, big, round and thick button was on the floor. He was very sorry for having made a lot of trouble for Frog. He sewed all the buttons in his pocket on his jacket and gave it to Frog. Frog was very happy.
