Today is Friday.

Bedelia was afraid and rode as quickly as possible. The dogs ran after her and barked. Their owners ran after them. The children riding bikes rode after them. No one could stop the dogs, so Bedelia started to threw her tarts to the people. Dogs ran after tarts on the people's hands. Everyone was excited for this great mess.

Some of the dogs still chased her. Bedelia had nothing to do. She left her bike and got in a convertible. The dogs continued to chase the car and the driver of the car tried to escape but squashed Bedelia's bike. At last the pink-split lady blew a whistle to let the dogs calm down. The mayor of the town claimed that Bedelia was the winner, because she made the whole town really happy. She was surprised.

Why did Bedelia want a new bike so eagerly? Because she was jealous of Suzanne's beautiful bike. Now she got a more beautiful bike. When she came to school the next day, she found Suzanne's bike was broken even worse than her old squashed bike. She asked Suzanne what had happened to her bike? Her mom drove the car over her bike because Suzanne left the bike in the driveway. Her mom asked her to pay half of the repairing fee.She was so unhappy. Bedelia felt sorry for her and decided to let Suzanne help her to send her tarts.She would pay for Suzanne.They became good friends.
