The Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. In the Spring Festival, all family members will get together, just like Chirstmas in the West. Its origin is ancient, but many believe the word Nian, which means "year", was the name of a beast that preyed on people on the eve of a new year.

    The spring Festival is coming soon  and my family members are all preparing for it.My parents are making dumplings and they are storing me of them for the next few days.I am taking down the old pictures on the wall and putting up them beautiful new ones .And my grandparents are holding the pictures to help me and telling me that. I am going to be on year older.

New year is coming, I’m going to do a lot of things next year. First, I want to improve my English, so I’m going to practice it very often and have many conversations with my friends.

Then, I want to take part in the sportsmeeting and get good grades, so I’m going to do sports every day such asswimming, running and so on. At the same time, I’m going to eat more healthyfood instead of junk food.
