Alright, so on October 30th, I wrapped up a bunch of stuff and made my way back from Guangdong. My flight was set for 6 PM, and since it takes about an hour and a half to get to the airport, I lined up a car for 1 PM. Before heading out, I treated myself to some classic Guangdong rice porridge and rice noodle rolls at the hotel, then caught a quick nap to recharge. When I checked out, the front desk was on the ball, super quick, and they even tossed in a couple of oranges, a bottle of water, and some tea bags for the road. I was all smiles as I jumped in the car, tuned into my favorite audio course, and cruised to the airport. Once I hit the lounge, I knocked out some work and stumbled upon a massage chair. I gave it a whirl, and it did wonders, so I went for a second round. Felt like a new person after that! The lounge had a car to whisk me straight to the plane, skipping the whole shuttle bus scene. The flight was a breeze, and I was full of energy, getting more work done on my iPad. The luggage wait dragged a bit, but I had those oranges to keep me company. By the time I finished them, my bags showed up. It was one of those days where everything just clicked and felt easygoing.
