I Am a NEET

OKiI am a NEET, who are not ineducation, employment, ortraining; I am a NEET, who failed to find a job after graduation, so, without any income, I have to rely on my parents, how lucky I am that my parents are not NEETs; I am a NEET, a loser as you said. Am I happy for being a NEET? Yes, of course I am.

Don’t you see that I am slouching comfortably in couch? Don’t you see that I have a whole day of spare time while you are drowned into your endless work? Don’t you see that I dare not to say one word of complaint in front of my parents? How long does it take before you realize that I am lying?

I don’t want to be a NEET. I want to be a successful, independent woman as you are. I had dreams. I started my own company, but I failed, because I know nothing about management; I went to interviews, but I failed, because the interviewers thought I was not capable of doing it; Once I got an offer, but I refused it because the poor salary can’t support myself. I tried a thousand times, though I also failed a thousand times.

Great pressure from society, consecutive failures in job-hunting make me scared, so I stop trying. But that doesn't make me a coward. I decide to live on my parents before things get better. But please pay attention to this, I am still ambitious, and I am still a doer more than a speaker.

For now, I’d better continue to lie in couch, waiting for a blind company who are willing to offer me a job. I bet there will be a company who doesn't want to make money! I bet that I will be successful one day!
