"I Will Survive" 这首 1979 年蝉联六周冠军白金曲，成为当时 70 年代 Disco 必备歌曲，法国世界杯足球队开赛歌选用此曲；此曲更是被滚石评为 100 首最伟大的作品之一。
Gloria Gaynor被誉为“迪斯科女王”，而这首歌曲也被2015电影《火星救援》收入为片尾曲。爱看太空冒险片的我，注意到了这首歌曲。
70年代的复古迪斯科音乐，热辣自由独立，人人都能舞上几曲；还有那些大名鼎鼎的巨星，ABBA，Madonna……那样的时代一去不复返。
“living in a material world，and i am a material girl .”Madonna大声唱出，她的独立宣言，我就是物质，物质的世界，物质的女孩。
