Just go ahead and never look back

Do you have a productive day today? Have you finish all your targets in your daytime?

I am ready to refresh myself and start seeking a job in different applications. I have done many kinds of part-time job before, like distributing leaflets, working as a Tmall customer service ,etc. All these types of jobs can’t provide you with continuous improvement in your skill trees, they’re dreary and mechanical. Once I have experienced this work  I will not do it again anymore. Interestingly, most jobs displayed in these APPs are similar to the jobs above. I am a little disappointed and realize that maybe a job with room for advancement will not appear in the part-time category.

I am a clinical doctor and I have left my clinical workplace for nearly 5 months. I hate memorizing the impenetrable medical contents of the books without combining them with practical cases. The actual medical cases are variable and complicated. I still should keep a modest and conscientious attitude in my future career. I am only a prospective resident doctor and have no working experience in a hospital.

I still remember a case in my ambulance when I was a pre-hospital physician: the patient complained of lower left abdominal pain, I went to his house and escort him into my ambulance, then I gave him the preliminary check and opened venous access to insure him against disease deterioration on the way. Luckily, his life symptoms were normal and I didn’t administer any drugs. I gave my primary diagnosis, UC(ulcerative colitis), to the nurse who accepted my patient. The nurse visited the patient and then told me that her diagnosis was appendicitis. 2 hours later I sent another patient into that hospital and met that nurse again , I asked her what the right imaging diagnosis of the last patient was, she told me it was appendicitis. I was astounded and consulted her sincerely, she told me that the surgical pain was different from the pain of internal medicine disease. I was ashamed for my deficiency of clinical experience.

Though I knew that cecum is in the right part of human’s body and the patient complained of left abdominal pain. Then I was conscious that my present occupation was limited in improving my doctor ability. I asked myself that if I still have the ambition of becoming a better clinical doctor, maybe I should accept some extra training in an hospital, rather than only doing some escorting and transporting work in an ambulance. A pre-hospital physician is also important in the whole emergency medical service system, but I can’t attain a sense of achievement .

I hope I can have the confidence of curing a disease without concerns though the older a doctor get, the more timid he will be.

PS: welcome to point out and correct my mistakes in my English article, including the word using and the grammar.

      Thank you for reading.
