well-regarded受好评的，受尊重的；migrate是不及物动词，迁徙，后面要跟to表示到某地，和move作vi的用法一样，不过move也可作vt（move sth to a place）

A well-regarded paper once claimed that birds migrated to the moon and back every year.

make history史上留名

This parrot made history by rapping for three minutes in a human（可作形容词） voice.

turn out to be被发现竟然是…

This monster trying to kill the Tang monk turned out to be a mount（坐骑）of a heavenly god.

ornithology鸟类学

北非North Africa；撒哈拉以南非洲sub-Saharan Africa（又称黑非洲，文化和北非的阿拉伯人不同）

arrow箭，注意读音，a读e（bow弓，ow读ou；弓与箭，bows and arrows）

south，north，east，west 这几个方向次都很多功能，可以作名词、形容词，别忘了还可以作副词

People in Europe gradually became aware birds moved south in autumn and north in summer.

weigh 作动词可表示有…重量之意，vt（也有称重和权衡之意）

It used to seem impossible that small birds weighing only a few grams could fly over vast oceans.

practice作实践讲不可数

Tracking birds by attaching rings to their legs is still common practice today.
