一年中我最爱的季节已经过半，应景的歌曲也很多。走在路上，看着满地落叶，有一首歌很应景，叫autumn leaves, 我听完了它在音乐库里收录的所有版本，最终还是决定跟大家介绍我最喜欢的Bic Runga翻唱的这一版。
歌词很简单，只有两段。但是意境很足，思乡，相思，脑海里一闪而过的记忆片段，儿时院子里的秋千，年少时每天穿着校服走过的那条小巷……

先来看一下drift这个词，在歌词中翻译成“飘落”。

根据字典的解释，drift就是move slowly，也就是慢慢移动的意思。云朵可以drift在天空，小船可以drift在水中，清风可以drift进开着的窗子，烟雾可以drift满屋子，人，也可以drift在街道上，漫无目的地走着，思考或者发呆，身后的影子拉长又缩短。
hold hands，握手，但是和见面打招呼的握手不一样。打招呼的握手是shake hands，而hold hands有更多温情在里面。
有人擅长安慰别人，可以说He/She is a hand-holder.
浪漫的ta，可以这么做：He/She held my hand, whispering to my ear.

在这秋叶纷纷落下的季节
since引导时间状语从句，一般理解成“自从”。看几个例子：

自从他去了巴黎，我就再也没见过他。

自从秋天来了，白天越来越短，黑夜越来越长。
miss, v. 想念
I missed you.大概是我最喜欢的话了。如果再次见面，有人这么对我说，我会好开心。注意这里我用来一般过去时，就是说，“在我们不相见的日子里，我们在思念彼此，现在终于又见到了。”而歌词中是一般现在时，也就是说，“想念你是我的日常。”
多说一句，英语中的时态能辅助表达出很微妙的感情，所以我一直在强调学习时态的重要性。

词语也就只能表达到这里，剩下的需要用“多余的东西”来表达，尤其是时态。
