Illinois, a state of about 11.5 million people in the north -central United States, is a temperate state with a relatively humid climate，it's capital is Springfield.
And Illionis is home to many attractions . Today I will introduce The Art Institute of Chicago. It is one of the three major art museums in the United States. This world-class art museum gathers the essence of human creativity for 40 centuries. From ancient Chinese bronze ware to contemporary arts and crafts ,it contains many unique treasures. Moreover, there are a large number of famous impressionist and postimpressionist paintings in the museum.
