1、give someone a ring  给别人打电话

ring动词表示按铃；敲钟；回响；成形环

名词表示戒指；铃声；钟声；拳击场；环形物

Give me a ring tomorrow so we can talk this over   明天给我打个电话，我们好好谈一谈

2、I'll say    (非正式)当然，必须的，就是的，肯定的回答别人的话（类同of course，sure）

He's usually smartly-dressed,I'll say that for him

我能说的是，至少他通常穿着入时。

3、稍等一会!!!

just a moment;

he was here just a moment ago.

她方才还在这儿。

just a second;

Can you give me just a second?The door bell is ringing.

门铃响了。我待会儿打给你。

A moment,please;    

I hate to disturb you,but can I come in for a moment please?

我不愿意打扰你，但我可以进来一会儿吗？

Hang on a sec;          

Hang on a sec.I'll come with you.  稍等，我跟你一起去。

4、at/for the moment    此刻，目前

Sorry，I‘m not in the office at the moment.   抱歉，我现在没有在办公室。

5、a sure thing  十分有把握的事，肯定会发生的事，确定的事，主语可以是人

John has a good chance of getting into Harvard,but it's not a sure thing.

约翰很有可能被哈佛录取，但还没有最终确定
