瑞思杯

Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Alina. My Chinese name is Hong Yuxuan. I ’m 10 years old and I ’m now in stage 3. I come from Chongqing and I have many hobbies, like reading, playing the piano and dancing. Today, I ’m very glad to be here to give all of you a speech. My topic is about unhealthy eating habits.

The skill that I need to improve the most is resilience. I think this one is important because it can give me much stronger and get me well prepared for the future. I plan to improve this skill by participating in more activities and getting more confident from failures.

As mentioned above, the problem I’m interested in is unhealthy eating habits.You may ask, why do you choose this topic? Wow, I guess there’re so many reasons. First of all, I’m a foodie.Ha! That’s right, that me !But as you can see , I belong to people who eat a lot but don’t gain weight. So I hope to try all kinds of delicious food without getting fat. Secondly, disease like obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes caused by unhealthy eating habits. I don’t want people to get fatter and fatter in the future, instead , I hope they’re healthier and healthier.

Then why do we form some unhealthy eating habits.There’re three causes of this problem. First one,we have too many temptations. By temptations, I mean we have easy access to too much junk food like fry chicken, hamburgers and barbecue,which taste delicious,but they all contain high fat and high calorie.In addition, most white collars are too busy or too lasy to cook.When they get home after a long day work,they may feel too tired to cook or some are just lasy. So, they often turn to fast food restaurants,which may not give the healthy food they need.And at last,eating with distractions may also lead to unhealthy eating habits and will be harmful to people.Some people just like to eating while watching TV. What’s the problem then? It will make people eat more than they need and cause some digestion problems as well.

Then what can we do about this problem.As for me, I think we can cut down our visits to fast food restaurants and eat at home more often. Besides,we can improve people’s awareness by broadcasting,ads or setting up healthy courses in schools . For busy white collars workers,we can suggest companies to set up canteens for them to get healthy food. And about eating with distractions, I think we can set some eating rules, like eating at table and eating attentively. Last but not the least,we can also make use of the new technology,like artificial intelligence. It can give us the best ways to eat both healthily and correctly.

And now please take a look at the video that I ’ve done when I interviewed people about how they think of my solutions. The video recording environment is not very good, please don’t mind. I interviewed 10 people,they’re my classmates,teachers and family.They ’re from 10 to 50 years old.Based on my interview,10 people think my idea is realistic ; 9 people believe my idea could solve the problem; 8 people think making use of technology is good enough to keep moving forward. So I think it will help people to build healthy eating habits,keep everyone healthy and spread positive energy as well.
