After birth, generally, the earliest knowledge people received is provided by their parents, and parents are most concerned about and try to arrange the development of their children. However, it is a prevailing misunderstanding that parents are the best teachers.
First of all, as parents, most people are the first time to raise children, lacking common sense of education. All too often they treat sons and daughters as a part of themself, not as an independent individual. What'a more, those immature parents tend to pursue their cherished yet failed dreams by forcing their children to develop in a prearranged direction.
Moreover, not all parents have asvanced degree and professional konwledge, and there is no one can be professional in all fields. Hence, when the childern were in higher grades, the majority parents are no longer able to teach them about any aspect. As children grow, professional teacheers play an increasing significant role in knowledge impartment.
On the other hand, parents are the most important examples, owing to their behaviors both beneficial and harmful subtly influence their children's habits. If parents were professors, their kids are probably more interested in books. Were parents indulge in gambling and alcoholic drink, how can their son and daughter avoid alcohol and the idea of leaving things to chance.
On the whole, parents are the most important yet best teachers. Every parents ought to study the common sense of education so as to be a qualified teacher.
