I got the news that one convenience store of the chain opened up two stores in the west of Jinan which excited me. I once assisted writing the business plan for them and advised them to start from the west of Jinan and I’m sure they must have planed to open stores in the west of Jinan firstly.

I went to the west of Jinan for so many times last year and I found the convenience store market was almost empty. I once had the idea to open stores there but didn’t act. What a disappointment. But there are lots of other opportunities in the west of Jinan.

I don’t know why I like chain stores. I once did part-time jobs at Unimart and this was the only experience of working in chain stores. I remembered my college dream was to open my own chain stores. If I was required to write business writing, the chain store is my first topic.

If I could open one store and then expand in one city, it would be a very exciting career for me. I want to create great working experience for employees and great purchasing experience for customers.

I went to Xuzhou yesterday and talked with two entrepreneurs who operate chain educational schools. I learnt that there are plenty of opportunities in second-tier cities, especially in the new part of these cities.

Chain stores are a great business model which could serve more people and you could get instant feedback from customers. It has a great self-duplicate power. I hope one day I could have the opportunity to open one company of the chain form.
