About Living Funeral

在 Morrie 生病之后，他去参加了他的朋友 Irv 的葬礼。在葬礼上至亲好友们讲了很多关于 Irv 的美好的事情。Morrie 觉得很惋惜，因为这些善意的言语这些情谊 Irv 都听不到了。Morrie 决定给自己举行一个 Living Funeral。

“What a waste,” he said. “All those people saying all those wonderful things, and Irv (Morrie’s friend) never got to hear any of it.” Morrie had a better idea. He made some calls. He chose a date. And on a cold Sunday afternoon, he was joined in his home by a small group of friends and family for a “living funeral.” Each of them spoke and paid tribute to my old professor.
