My friend, Hugh, has always been fat, but things got so bad recently that he decided to go on a diet. After a week, I called at his house and was not surprised to see that he
was still as fat as ever, despite the long list of his favourite forbidden foods. Hugh felt it embarrassed to hide a parcel under the desk and then tried to explain his action. He
told me that because of his strict die had to reward himself occasionally and then he
prised the parcel open. It contained five large bars of chocolate and three bags of
sweets.
