沁园春·春分

Qinyuanchun • Spring Equinox

翠染山川，绿漫原野，日暖韵悠。

Emerald hues dye mountains and streams, 

Green spreads through fields and plains,

Sunlit warmth lingers. 

看桃枝绽粉，梨英堆雪；菜花铺金，垂柳垂钩。

Peach branches blush pink,

Pear blossoms heap snow; 

Rapeseed flowers gild the earth,

Weeping willows cast fishing lines. 

燕舞晴空，莺啼翠柳，半是春光半是柔。

Swallows dance in clear skies,

Orioles sing amid jade willows,

Half spring’s vigor, half tender grace. 

逢此季，正平分昼夜，好景盈眸。

At this season, day and night stand equal, 

Beauty fills the eyes. 

田间农事方遒。

In fields, farm work now thrives. 

趁晴日、耕牛沃野游。

Seizing fair days, plow oxen roam fertile plains. 

有农人笑语，播撒希望；

Laughter of farmers sowing hope, 

孩童戏闹，追逐无忧。

Children’s play chasing carefree joy. 

墨客挥毫，诗家把盏，欲赋春词意未休。

Scholars wield brushes,

Poets raise cups, 

Composing spring verses—thoughts still surge. 

抬望眼，叹韶光正好，莫负风流。

Gazing upward,

Sigh at prime splendour,

Let none waste this vibrant hour.
