8.19 Day 14:W3 Summary——Peak刻意练习

PART 1: Thoughts

瓶颈期时,通过不同方法并深思,找出根本原因加以改正;

弱化影响自己的因素,如下载任务app,抑制自己玩手机的欲望;

制定计划和日程表,进行任务细化,了解掌握自己的时间;

参加有质量学习小组,互相学习、反馈、“刺激”。在学习中了解到更好的思维和方法;在反馈中发现别人和自己的错误;互相“刺激”对比,促使自己不断前进。

PART 2: Summary

Chapter five and six state the principles of deliberate practice in our daily work and life.

  First, don't fall into the prevailing myths. The deliberate-practice mindset offers: once we find the "right way " anyone can improve. So we can get the habit of "learning while real work gets done" that it benefits us to practice and think about practicing. We also need to take a combination of knowledge and skills. Don't be a nerd. Just as William Halsted said: "See one, do one, teach one." The idea holds that the best way to learn is through the process of teaching. (订:There is a saying by William Halsted:"See one, do one, teach one", it holds that the best way to learn is teaching.)

  Second, deliberate practice is for everyone who dreams. If possible, we can find a good teacher to instruct us. However, if we don't have the chance, we must manufacture our own opportunities and apply the three Fs. For instance, seeing  what works best for you on the Internet. When you suffer the plateau, figure out the reason and keep going.

  As a rule of thumb, getting start is easy,(补:as we always abandon our New Year’s resolutions after one week or few months. Just because there are not enough motivations to keep us up.) it's hard to maintain the motivation. Thus, we can strengthen the reason to keep going or weaken the reason to quit. (the mind map above).
