Women are not making it to the top of any profession anywhere in the world.

给职场女性的三条建议：

1. Sit at the table. 坐在桌边而非墙角。

Women systematically underestimate their own abilities. 女性被系统化地低估了她们自身的能力。

Women do not negotiate for themselves in the workforce. Success and likeability are positively correlated for men and negatively correlated for women.

需要提醒女性的是：

“Believe in yourself and negotiate for yourself. Own your own success".

2. Make your partner a real paetner. 让你的伴侣成为一个真正的合作伙伴。

As a society, we put more pressure on our boys to succeed than we do on our girls. 社会对于男性成功的期待要比女性大得多。

We have to make it(stay at home) as important a job, because it's the hardest job in the world. To work inside the home, for people of both

genders, if we're going to even thing out and let women stay in the workforce.

3. Don't leave before you leave. 在你离开前别放弃。

Once you have a child at home, your job better be really good to go back, because it's hard to leave that kid at home.

Your job need to be challenging and rewarding. You need to feel like you're making a difference.

Don't make decisions too far in advance, particularly one's you're not even conscious you're making.
