Today is Friday.
Mrs. West had to sell her lot because her house need to be repaired. Amelia told that to her parents. Her mom adviced her to ask the owner of the car market how much Mrs. West's old car valued, because one man's trash is another man's treasure. When the manager heard Amelia's message about the old cars, he said, "Usually the old cars are not worth a red cent," which means insignificant value. But when Amelia told him one of the car was a Ferrari, he became excited and shouted at her into the phone,"Meet me right away at your friend's house. Hold on to your hat!" That means to get ready for what's coming or about to happen! They went to Mrs. West's house soon. The manager told the lady that he was so excited that he had got ants in his pants, which means a state of restless impatience. And he wanted eagerly to sell the car as soon as possible. Mrs. West said, "So I can repair the roof with the money. What a windfall!" That means a sum of money that you receive unexpectedly or by luck, for example, if you win a lottery.
