题目:One way to solve the problem of parking in inner city areas is to have large car parks around the city center and a public transport network to take people around the inner city.Inner city parking would then be limited and very expensive. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this approachto urban planning?
Nowadays most people in our society can afford a car. As a result, the phenomenon of too many cars in the city has also caused a lot of cars parked randomly and other bad performance. This is where parking Spaces come into play. In order to solve the problem that many cars have no place to park, the government has built large parking lots and a public transport network in the city center. So is this a good move or a bad one? I think we should analyze it from two angles.
The first is its benefits. The government's building of a car park in the city centre must be of great benefit. As is known to all, most of the city's commercial activities are held in the center of the city, such as shopping, working, eating and so on. So at certain times there's a lot of people coming into the city center and there's a lot of people driving cars. There are so many cars in the city center that parking Spaces are needed. So the government has built large car parks and public transport networks that will make it easier for those driving into the city centre parking their cars and ease some of the congestion. From this aspect, the construction of government is beneficial.
Then there's the downside. There are also disadvantages to the government's plans to build large car parks and public transport networks in city center. Downtown is the commercial center so its land resources are actually very precious and expensive. The government needs a large area of land to build parking lots, which is undoubtedly a huge expense and a waste of land. In this respect, the construction is actually bad for the government, which not only increases the cost but also wastes the place where the business could be developed. So there is a downside to this construction.(316words)
