My Views on University Ranking

University ranking prevails these years, there are quite a few university rankings which utilize various norms. One of its effects is giving a guideline for selection of colleges.

Persons who study in campus or not are interested in the ranking of university. The reasons why numerous persons are willing to discuss it are plenty, the most momentous is that the guide of medias, there are a great deal of medias often quote ranking for comparison. Therefore in public eyes, the criterion of the good and bad for a university is ranking,  they are pleasant to debate it.

But there also are many view points towards ranking of university. some people considers the phenomenon which the ranking is abused are more and more critical than before, and the degree of comparing with the higher is more serious. For some people, the ranking is deemed a excitation. Ranking itself is a positive thing, through comparison, not only students can choose a ideal school to study, but also a competition will happen among universities, it will make some beneficial effects.

As far as I am concerned, there is no doubt about that we should utilize the ranking accurately, we can regard it as a object standard, do not believe it completely.
