A committee in the lower house could vote today on whether to ban discussion of political preferences, gender and sexual orientation in schools.
The bill was introduced by a far-right movement known as Escola sem Partido (ESP) or “Schools without Parties”, which claims teachers are “indoctrinating leftists”.
