Due to the manifold recommendations, I began watching <In The Name of the People> today. It's the latest hit TV series about China's anti-corruption campaign.
In Episode 01, the most impressing scene is when the corrupt officaial strengthless lying on the chair with a superior regretful expression, looking at the countless money.
At that moment, I felt extremely sorry for him. He said,"My ancestors were all farmers, so I was afraid of poverty." However, it's ironic that he was also afraid of spending any money made in improper ways. He could never enjoy the happiness of life once opened the gate of greed. What's worse, he had no choice but to keep corrupting, and live in the world full of endless mental torture.
Watch out for greed. It has no limitation.
