Well, I do think professional players do deserve the money they get. Cause they are portraying their image publicly, andrisking their bodies to entertain us. And many people like them. They buy their jerseys, buy tickets to follow them, watch them on the TV and listen them onradio. There is lots of money goes into it, and it is reasonable for them to reap the benefits. As they are making the profits. So, they bring in a lot ofrevenue. I mean the money is so much. Maybe they should give more to the charity or give some back to the communities. But, Yael, they deserve their revenue.
Somebody may say other professions such as doctors and teachers are more important than athletes. But I suppose that the entertainment, educations and hospitals are all important in the society, and the society has offered the same total salaries to them. But you can tell that the count of athletes is much less than that of doctors or teachers. That is to say those teachers divide the total salaries into small unit for each one. So, athletes hold the higher level of revenue. It is no sense to compare income between athletes and doctors.
There are two sorts of athletes. The star athletes plus the normal ones. The star ones that earn higher income while normal ones just bring in a low revenue, may be less by comparison with normal doctors.
