Hem and Haw found the Cheese, they felt secure because they thought the Cheese here will last forever, they felt happy and successful. Day after day, they got used to it. After for a while Hem and Haw's confidence grew into arrogance of success. Soon they became so comfortable they didn't even notice what was happening. So one day, they were completely shocked while they discovered there were no cheese there. They thought they were special and smart how can the cheese suddenly vanished! It was not fair to them. They shouted, hollered, screamed, yelled, they felt depressed and discouraged. Hem and Haw continued to hem and haw. Hem still complained and depressed and stuck on it. But Haw thought maybe they should stop analyzing the situation so much and get going and find some New Cheese.

       On the other side,Sniff and Scurry found the cheese,they enjoyed it and continued their routine.When one day they discovered there were no cheese.They weren't surprised. Since Sniff and Scurry had noticed the supply of cheese had been getting smaller every day,they were prepared for the inevitable and knew instinctively what to do. The mice did not over analyze things. To the mice, the problem and the answer were both simple. The situation at Cheese Station C had changed. So, Sniff and Scurry decided to change. They were quickly off in search of New Cheese. Read to here, I gave the big thumb to the mice. Though Sniff and Scurry possessing only simple rodent brains, but facing change they adapt to it, smarter than the Littlepeople.
