Buddhist says the moment is the future.

When I was young, I did not attend elementary school. Usually, when a child is 7 years old, he would be in first grade. I was an exception. During “the Cultural Revolution”,the class struggle was very fierce. Our family of four had no fixed place to live. This delayed the time for me to go to school.

I remember when I was 11 years old, my mother took me to the primary school to enroll. A girl at 11-year-old should be in fourth grade in elementary school, but I was very embarrassed in Grade Three. I couldn't read, couldn't spell, couldn't count, I was like an idiot. In those days, I could stay and study in the school because I could sing in the school play White Haired Girl; I could not read, but I could recite. The whole primary school years have passed in such a daze. I never learned to write in elementary school and spelling mistakes become a daily occurrence. What impressed me most is that my father gave me a nickname “misnomer”. This is my real childhood.

Buddhist says the moment is the future. It means that today's actions determine the future. Every experience in life is between gains and losses. In that particular era, although I had lost the basic knowledge of education, but Chairman Mao's “Three Constantly Read Articles” planted the seeds of eternal in my soul.

7erve the People commemorates Zhang Side, who died for the benefit of the people, a burden heavier than Mount Tai. Chairman Mao quoted Si Maqian's famous saying, “Man is born to die, whether he is heavier than Mount Tai, or lighter than a feather.”

Ku Gong Moves Mountain: “To make up your mind, not to fear sacrifice, to eliminate all difficulties, to fight for victory!” YuGong dug the mountains with the spirit of digging by his children constantly one generation after the other, his spirit touched the God and the God sent the immortals to move away the two mountains.

A emorial to Bethune: A doctor in his fifties traveled thousands of miles from Canada to China for the sake of the Chinese people's liberation cause. He wrote with his life a spiritual hymn “be not selfish, be for the people” that has influenced and affected generations.

This is the most precious spiritual core that was left to me in that era. This kind of thinking without self-interest created the greatness and extraordinariness of the Chinese nation!
