Jackets. What a great accessory to have. Notice I said ‘accessory’. Jackets are an accessory to the formal school uniform. With rules and regulations to follow, we must act accordingly. Here I will define why jackets are not allowed inside.
Remember the first day you came to school? When you first entered the office and purchased that jacket, you agreed that it was an accessory item to go along with your formal uniform. Throughout all the school forums and website pages, one of the rules of your uniform is that jackets are not to be worn inside. To disobey those rules is discriminatory and disrespectful to the school rules and yourself. When you come home every day from school, you are automatically bonded with your house rules. Same applies to school. When you step into the school you must abide by the school rules. Once you learn to follow rules you will automatically have learned one skill. Discipline.
Every day many visitors come to school. You may not see them, but they are here. Here to observe how our school works and how we learn. The first thing that they notice and will inspect, is the aesthetical aspect of our school. If we are to wear the jackets in class, we are disobeying the rules set by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and we are showing the people who visit us, that we are children that don’t care about the rules and don’t care of our own ‘looks’. Some clothing gives people a smug and negative feeling about the wearer. We don’t want that insight on us.
When you get a job in the future, you must wear appropriate uniforms or clothing. If you disrespect the company in any way, you will probably get in trouble. We can totally relate to that. In a couple years, we children will be eligible to apply for a job! Making good habits when young is the golden time for you do so. This means, when we go to work we will have a habit of dressing professionally. Also, when young we can learn from experience and experiment what clothing looks best. Jackets, in this case, does not fit the outline. If we can do this, we will have learnt another skill. Making good habits.
Following rules, having self-pride and creating good habits are all great qualities that a person can have. And by just following one single rule, one can learn three nifty skills to improve themselves immensely.
