导读

第三章另两条线索寻星的同时展开， Stormhold的三个继承人 , 森林木屋里的三个女巫。在个继承人是为了权力王位，女巫大概是为了返老还童的年轻美貌和法力吧。这个还不太明朗，当她们看到其中一个变身为年轻姑娘时，她们眼里透出对年轻身体的饥渴。

流星落在哪里了？仙女境地的森林中还有一些特殊的小动物，一个夜晚在水池边的地草上，一个受到诅咒的猫头鹰吃了一只被诅咒的田鼠，流星在这里坠落，巨大的光芒和声响后，一片寂静。

Summary

There were there aged Lilim, the witch queen, who lived in a small house in deep woods. 

One day, one of them took a dead stoat home, then cut the arms, legs and neck off, pulled the skin off. After examining the entrails, they learned of the the fallen star.

The lucky oldest women who got the heart of the stoat popped something golden and turned into a young, handsome woman with black hair, dark eyes and red lips. She promised that she would bring the heart of fallen star back here.

读这本小说最大的感触是作者的语言特别生动，画片感特别强，比如：

1. Something golden tried to avoid her hand, but she caught it, wiggling and glimmering, opened her mouth, and popped it inside.

wiggling and glimering, 两个词就生动得把画片展现在我们眼前了

2. She twitched off the tapestry, and opened the chest, rummaging inside.

twitch  这个词直接让我们想像到那个画面，很有气势地把箱子上的盖布掀起来的样子。

这本书拿来朗读，感觉应该美美，值得好好欣赏。
