My name is Chen guoqianq,and I’m thirty-three years old now. I was born and raised in Shandong Province,and now I live in Kunshan, Jiangsu province. 2003年考入苏州科技学院，只身一人从山东来到苏州上学，就读室内设计专业。大学期间成绩平平，无忧无虑，日子过的潇洒。毕业后，潇洒并没有延续，而是连连碰壁，工作没着落，依然记得第一个月拿了850块钱的工资，对美好生活的憧憬也荡然无存，养活自己都吃力，还好有一个可以养我的女朋友，庆幸有她的陪伴和支持。结束了半年的打工生涯，2007年年末，辞掉工作，回到昆山，开启了创业模式，成了一名专职的淘宝卖家，一直到现在，目前团队有15人。
In 2003, I came to Suzhoualone from Shandong for chasing my dream of higher education. I studied InteriorDesign in the university. While I wasn’t an excellent academic achiever, I reallyenjoyed my carefree life out there. But very soon the easy life came to an endafter graduation. What was waiting for me were a lot of bumps. I couldn’t evenfind a job to make ends meet. Well, having tried many times, I got one, whichwas pretty important for me, although I wasn’t paid well. I still remember veryclearly that the very first salary in the first month was only 850 yuan, whichwas all I got. Life was tough, obviously, not as beautiful as I had thoughtbefore. It was beyond my imagination. It was clear that it’s pretty hard to navigate.Well, things were not all that bad. I had something good around me. Forexample, my then girlfriend, now my wife didn’t leave me because of mypredicament. She chose to stay with me and handle those problems with metogether. Her accompany and support was really important for me at that verymoment. I was pretty lucky to have her along the way. After the shorthalf-a-year work, at the end of 2007, I quit my job and came to Kunshan andstarted my own business being a professional seller on Taobao. Up till now, wehave had a team of 15 people.
公司的主营业务是婚礼用品，当时筹备婚礼的时候，没有找到满意的喜糖盒，两个人就自己做。后来一对好朋友喜欢我们设计的喜糖盒，也让我们帮忙做她的婚礼喜糖盒。从2009年开始公司化运作，我的主要工作就是负责公司的日常管理。
The prime business of mycompany is selling wedding supplies. Here’s the interesting story which explainswhy I chose to do this business in the first place. While we were preparing forour own wedding, we found it hard to buy candy boxes which we thought weresatisfying. So, we came up with an idea that we should make those stuff on ourown. As an Interior designer, I finally got the opportunity to put my handsdown on the real things. I designed some candy boxes for my own wedding.Unexpectedly, a couple of our friends liked my design and asked me to do it fortheir wedding. Naturally, we continued to do our business in such a funny way.Since 2009, we have started to operate our business in a way that is like areal company. My main focus is being in charge of the management of the company.
创业初期是没有很多的空余时间的，除了工作就是吃饭睡觉，慢慢走上正轨，相对空余时间慢慢多了起来，开始尝试做一些自己喜欢的事情，空余时间会更多选陪伴家人，小朋友有老人帮忙照顾，所以自己会有比较多的时间，突然发现爱好太多也不见得是件好事情，会分散很多注意力，也就是传说中的万物丧志，很多爱好慢慢就放弃掉了，空余时间会去健身房锻炼，基本上一周三次的频率，跑步会安排在早上起床进行，早上跑完步整个人会精神状态很好，一整天充满了能量。
At the beginning of ourbusiness, I didn’t have much time available for anything else except sleeping andeating. When everything went well, I got much more free time to do what I wantedto do. I prefer to stay with my family. I enjoy the quality time with my wifeand my angel daughter. Sometimes my father-in-law sends her to school and picksher up back to home. So I have enough time to do what I’m interested in, likerunning, going to gym, and playing golf. Life would be boring without hobbies. Butit's not good if you have too many hobbies. I can't take control of my focus onthe work very well. Maybe one or two hobbies would be much better for me. So I havegot rid of something that I think is not important. Now running and going togym are the two things that I do most of my free time. Usually I go to gymthree times a week. I like running in the morning. After running I feelenergetic in the rest of the day.
对未来最大的期望就是可以自由支配自己的时间，现在更多是为了生计而努力。做自己从来不曾做过的事情，比如花两年的时间训练，尝试打职业的高尔夫比赛。把英语学好，申请一个国外的大学，也去国外生活一段时间，体验不一样的生活方式。
For the future, my bestwish is that I can make the most of my own time. Now I work for living a betterlife. I hope I could get the chance to do what I have never done before. I wantto be a professional golf player. Attend some matches someday, hopefully. Tryto learn English well, and then I’m going to go to a foreign university, studyingsomething that I’m interested in and living there for some time. Life is ajourney. We have to be on the road, and move around to experience somethingdifferent.
